I am a plus size 20DD and love sexy lingerie. Can you help?

Yes we certainly can. All corsets and bustiers are firmly boned for support and designed to shape and flatter the fuller figure, and there are many other sexy styles available in plus sizes including Half Cup Bras with supportive underwires, Suspender Belts, G Strings and Crotchless G Strings and Knickers, Stockings designed for the fuller thigh, and pretty, sexy Torsolettes.  You will love the beautiful satin and lace Knickers, Camis, Chemises and Nites, and look at the Nites and Bra Top Nites available in short or long styles.  Nearly all our garments are available in larger sizes, so browse our website and enjoy!

Corsets and  bustiers, is there a difference?  I am confused about the meaning of a corset or a bustier.

Yes, very confusing. Queen Elizabeth l wore 'a pair of bodies' which were the front and back of a metal based corset.  This garment developed over the years into the whale-boned and laced corset.  Today, almost anybody calls almost anything that covers the torso a 'corset'.  However, we still consider that a corset should be a firmly boned, fully lacing, supportive and figure shaping garment.

CC184frwta'Bustier' is the modern terminology for what we used to call a 'torsolette'.  That is, a pretty garment, lightly boned and usually with back stretch panels and hook/eye fastening.  Today, we are supplying 'torsolettes' without boning because the boned ones are now generally known as 'bustiers'. Still confused?

O.K.  If you want something supportive, but not too confining, either to wear as a sexy outfit or as a foundation under a dress, look at Bustiers.

If you like the feel (or think you will like the feel) of a really tight fitting garment and want to be pulled in at the waistline, look at Corsets.

If you don't really want boning or to be confined at all, but just like the sexy appearance, then look at Torsolettes.

If you read the descriptions at the top of each 'Corset' category, and also the description of each garment you like the look of, you should find enough information to help you choose what style will be best for your needs.  If in doubt, email us.

Underbust corsets, waist cinchers, waist waspies - what is the difference?

CW233_1pinkaAh yes!  Almost back to 'what is a corset'.  Basically an underbust corset and a waist cincher are the same thing, just different terminology by different suppliers. They are corset type garments that sit under the bustline, with heavy boning, usually busk front, and fully lacing for tightly pulling in the waist.

A waist waspie is a pretty, sexy garment with lighter boning, back stretch panels and hook/eye fastening, not intended to be a shaping garment.

I have read that I should order my corset in a size smaller than my normal waist size.  What should I do?

CB574rep Some manufacturers supply their corsets in waist sizes and recommend that you buy a smaller waist fitting to pull you in, and I believe that this system works quite well.  However, the corsets/bustiers/cinchers/waspies that we supply are generally made to fit a normal body size and the waist control has been designed into the garment. We therefore recommend that you order your normal fitting i.e. Size 10, 12 etc. or in the case of waist cinchers where they are supplied in waist sizes, your natural waist measurment.

Check our Sizing Chart before you order, fill in your measurements on your order form, or email us.
